MY HAPPY PLACE DAY 1

Nathalie over at Easy Peasy Kids has served us all with a challenge. The 30 Day Happy Place Challenge

Every night for the next 30 days we will journal a happy thought for the day. So when we get caught in the rut that is life, we have a little reminder of the good stuff which will bring a smile to our faces.

So here’s my happy thought for today. My soon to be two year old son sat on my lap today for a good 15 minutes. And I mean sat still. We were watching ABC2 at the time and he was engrossed in The Wiggles.

But while he was watching the skivvied ones I closed my eyes and just hugged my son. And relished in the fact that the was sitting still; because I know the next he’ll sit still will probably be when he’s five 😉

      I’m sure you’re right Mandy. He’s my 3rd boy which is why I know these moments are rare.

      I’m sure my daughter (who is my eldest) didn’t wriggle as much as her brothers 😉

          Thanks Denyse. Enzo is overseas for 2 weeks so I knew that I’m going to have to steal my happy moments in the midst of the craziness in my house.
